May not be the best place to post this here, but as someone who wants to buy a smartphone soon, I can't help but realize how this is such an important time for smartphones.

Really, Android is the only one who is set for the rest of the year. We know what iOS will mostly have, but the new iPhone will change things for Apple. Windows Phone 8 is on the horizon, and BlackBerry 10 is out there.

Maybe my thinking is flawed, but now seems to be an important time if you are considering a new smartphone or even changing platforms.

I made the switch from a "dump phone" to a "smartphone" in 2009. I've used iPhone's and Android phones, never tried Windows phone or BlackBerries.

If you're interested in smartphones, I think iPhone would be a good place to start ;)

Tunnel visioned is what I'd say. Of course now seems an important transition time when you're shopping. Any shopper would think so.
