I'm looking for a bluetooth headphone(s) that will interface OK with a cMP 2012.
I suppose an easy way to switch between devices playing the audio would be great.

What I'm looking for is something that will give me several hours of audio.
I'm looking to listen to some podcast and video streamed online (if it makes a difference) while I roam around up to 10 feet away from the computer. Pausing the stream / play from the headphone would be a bonus.

Can this be accomplished with under $30?

Bluetooth 2 is all that is needed for audio. All headphones made in the last 5-10 years should have this.

When you click the speaker by the clock it shows a checkmark beside which output is in use. You just select the one you want. The computer usually switches to Bluetooth when it first sees the headphones turn on, but you can manage switching the audio.

If you play the podcast through iTunes the pause option will work.

If you are fine with earbud style headphones, there are many headphones with decent battery life. Anker on Amazon has a 12 hour model. Big, on ear or bigger over ear headphones are unlikely to be available for $30 with long battery life, unless you already have headphones and just get a Bluetooth adapter to velcro to the headphones to make them wireless (which is what I did).
