angelwatt Moderator emeritus Aug 16, 2005 7,852 9 USA Jan 11, 2010 #2 Disk Utility can. Create disk image, save as cdr. A little Google goes a long way.

You didn't read the entire linked article, did you? That process WILL generate an ISO, if you follow it all the way to the end.
