ISO Mounting Issues

Hi,

Im a new mac user and pretty happy about my shift from schweindows.

BUT -

I have an ISO which I mounted, yet it won't work.
Its supposed to be an educational application (med school).

1)Thought the file might be corrupted, downloaded other versions but they won't work either.
2)Burning to a disk didn't help either.

What do I do :confused:
