after doing a search it seems my question is the opposite of what most people ask.

how do i convert an ISO (or the video audio folders) into a video file?

Well you can burn the iso to a disk in Disk Utility then rip is off via Handbrake. You might even be able to use handbrake to convert is straight from the iso.

the correct way would be:

1. mount the iso image
2. open the VIDEO_TS file with handbrake
3. convert to MP4!!!!
4. you're done

definately convert it to mp4, if you convert it to avi you're a mad man!
