I saw this website offering free MacOs. As ISO or full install. I am interested in Lion for my Mac Pro because I just resurrected it and it isn't ready to fgo yet and I think it still has Snow Leopard on it. So, is Isoriver a good place to get a disk image or should I be wary of them?

I would be wary. I'd try getting the OSes you need from Apple -- I believe I've seen threads that indicated you could upgrade from Snow Leopard using only official Apple downloads. Don't remember the process, though.

I agree with Brian33, I would be wary. Do Macs have security precautions in place to prevent installing an operating system that has been tampered with? It's quite easy to unpack an OS, write in some malware and then create an ISO file.

Yeah I would agree be wary I started to download it but my sys blocked it . Saying it’s unsafe I was trying to get the original that came with the 2011 mbp

In reply to the question, YES, Macs do have security precautions in place to prevent that kind of installation.
I was wanting to install Mac OS 10.15 Catalina, and I like to keep the downloaded installers, so I ended up downloading one from the above-mentioned ISORIVER website. When I went to actually do the installation, I got this error message:

"'Install macOS Catalina.app' can't be opened because the identity of the developer cannot be confirmed."

This seems to also confirm that installers from ISORIVER are worth being very careful with!
