iSpazz not too... flashy?

Hey guys, so I just downloaded iSpazz on my new MBP, and I saw all the videos of ispazz being a really cool flashy keyboard visualizer

HOWEVER I've noticed mine works, but it mostly stays lit solidly with a very rare flicker or strobe. Is there any setting I can tweak to make it flashier? lol sounds like such a noob question sorry

You can adjust the equalizer settings so that everything but highs and lows are quiet. It also sounds like you might have the volume up too loud.
