If I press the caps lock button while running bootcamp on my Core duo 17" macbook pro, the apple bluetooth keyboard will freeze, and become unresponsive. The keyboard will then need to be turned off and then back on to regain connection to the computer.

Has anybody hear of the issue, or experienced it themself? I have reinstalled the bootcamp drivers, but continuously experience this issue.

Thanks!

I'm experiencing this as well... ran across it last night and took me a few minutes to figure out what the problem was.

Early 2008 Mac Pro, Windows XP, Aluminum BT keyboard.

Happens to me also and does the same on my iMac. I have yet to find a solution for it other than not using the Cap lock.

I've read several threads that discuss it but I did not find a solution.

Continued to search a bit... found this on the apple discussion site:

http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1291199&tstart=0

It details a registry setting (haven't tried it yet) that basically disables the Capslock key under Windows, so if you don't use the key at all you can use that and supposedly that fixes the problem since Capslock is never activated.

It modifies the registry, but comes with a file to change it back as well:

It was made for people that hate the capslock key, but I guess in this situation it applies :D
