I Have a time capsule and a macbook air. They have never had an issue until the other day, now when I try to connect it takes a very long time and then after connecting gives me the exclamation point on the wifi and says no internet. I find this odd because we own an iMac, three iPads, two iPhones, all which connect to it and use the internet just fine. The macbook air did until the other day as well. It happened around the same time that I connected a second router (LAN on the time capsule to WAN on the second router). My macbook will connect to the second router with no issues, and when connected to the second router it gets the internet with no issues (the second router is for accessing a VPN). I can't figure out what is wrong, I have tried rebooting the router multiple times, sometimes that helps for a little, often it does not. Rebooting the macbook does nothing, even when it is connected, when I have airport utility open, it detects the time capsule but occasionally will give me a disconnected message when I am looking through the settings, even though according to the wifi icon my connection hasn't changed.
It happens on the 2.4 and 5ghz bands, and the channels have been set manually to not overlap (2.4ghz channel 1 on the new router, channel 11 on the time capsule, 5ghz I can't remember but the highest channel on the time capsule and the highest double digit channel on the asus router)
