With the new Photos App on OS X, I attempt to enable iCloud Photos Library but I keep getting a popup stating it wants me to use the optimized storage due to the fact it think my local storage cannot handle the full rez images.

This doesn't make sense to me considering all the full rez images are already on the Mac to begin with. Anyone know a way around this?
