I saw some people having challenges with their displays being connected up to MINI M1.

This video approaches the topic and some rather interesting finds (and conjecture). Be aware that some of the problems may be due to the types of adapters being used in some tests. (Inferior ones can yield inferior results.)

This starts with some comparison tests then moves into connecting to different monitors using different connectivity.

Many of us are still trying to figure out if we can run an ultra-widescreen monitor with this M1 Mini.

Thus far, it doesn't seem like you can. Would love to be proved wrong.

I believe from what I have heard that some monitor will suffer if they require software that is non native and requires Rosetta2. Consider soft and hardware calibrated monitors. However, Youtube has some videos on the topic and just grabbed this as an example of some that do work with the m1 Mini.

I have the DellU3818DW listed as number 2. It is a beautiful well built monitor. Works great with my 2018 MM, I also have a eGPU Vega 56 when needed.
