Hi,

I have an OWC Aura SSD. Mac Book Air early 2015. Running Mojave.

Tried to update OS and cannot because SSD is not formatted for ADFS. Went through a bunch of online articles to try and resolve and here’s a quick summary of steps / issues:
  1. Took Time Machine backup of current setup
  2. Erase option on disk utility not enabled. Managed to get to where I could erase it by accessing Internet Recovery Mode and getting on disk utility.
  3. Did the erase, followed the prompts / process and set the new drive as ADFS
  4. Did the restore from Time Machine but looks like it just reverted it back to Extended Journaled.
How do I get the drive to ADFS and not lose my data? I want to get onto newer version of MAC OS.

Thanks in advance.
