Hey everyone, I am attempting to install Ghostery for Safari on my MBP 2016 for Safari. However, when I install it and click on the .safarixtz file I get the following message

“Ghostery” is from the Safari Extension Gallery.

To install this extension, you need to visit the Safari Extensions Gallery.

Cancel Visit Gallery

If I then click visit gallery it brings me to the safari extension gallery, I then search for Ghostery and click install, then it gives me the same download file and brings me into a loop where I can click cancel or visit gallery.

What am I doing wrong?

Just tried it on mine, worked fine. Might have a cache issue??

Are you going straight to the gallery by choosing Safari > Safari Extensions.... or googling?

I am going to Safari > Safari Extensions. This is bizarre.
