Issue upgrading to 2.0.2

I had not upgraded to 2.0.1, but tried this evening to upgrade to the newest version. during the 'backing up' period, it stalled. i waited for a good 45 minutes with no movement before forcing iTunes to quit. Now, when I try to install the software, it gives me an error at the backup phase (unknown error -19).

What should I do? Restore? Will I lose all of my info (saved games on Aurora Feint, input into gas program, etc?)?
