I have an issue with video on my Apple TV which is upgraded to tvOS 16.0 after a couple of days the video will skip/stutter/judder every 5 seconds or so. This even does it on the video screen saver. Doesn’t matter which app or anything. A restart always fixes it, but I am not happy restarting every day or two. Prior to tvOS 16 I didn’t have this issue and never need to restart. Does anyone have an idea to resolve this issue. I’d prefer not reinstalling tvOS but it is a last case scenario. Thanks

That sucks. Hopefully an update will fix it, but at the pace that Apple fixes tvOS bugs, it could potentially be a while.

You could try reinstalling the OS, sometimes that corrects problems.

Apples early iOS versions are always riddled with bugs nowadays. I try not to update any of my devices until a stable version is released.

I really wish there wasn’t the update pop ups that come on the Apple TV, it is so easy to accidentally update the OS.

I’m going to wait for tvOS 16, or I may never update it, on my primary AppleTV. But, with those stupid pop-ups, I’m sure that someone in my house is going to accidentally update it.

Yeah. I am trying to avoid resetting it. If I there is no fix I will probably end up doing that.
