Issue with 3.0b2 Text Message Preview

Hello Macrumors.

Specs:
iPhone 3g 16 Gig - 3.0b2

When i have "Show Preview" enabled, I can no longer see a preview when my phone is unlocked and being used.
It simply says "Text Message" below their name. Is anybody else having this problem?
