Issue with an app display - need help

I am running Skype and when I start a chat, the chat box goes all the way over to the right hand side of the screen to the point where I only see the left hand boarder of the dialogue box....so I can not type in the dialogue box becuse it is not visible AND I can not grab/drag the dialogue box to the middle of the screen. I have tried different screen resolutions with no help...
Suggestions?

Maybe deleting ChatWindows.plist under Users/You/Library/Application Support/Skype might help. Make a backup of this file before deleting it.

If looked into that file, and it contained some coordinates for the chat window.
