I have a Canon i960 printer. I've never had any trouble with it. For some reason, when i go to print my business cards, they come out dull with visible lines through them. I use the Avery Ivory Matte perforated card stock, and print from a template in Word. Never had a problem, this has always worked great.
My printer ink levels are good. I've deep cleaned the head probably seven times today. When I print other stuff, a photo from my desktop for example, it looks okay... and doesn't have these lines through it or excessively dull.
But, I got clever, took a screenshot of the actual business cards and printed that as a photo. It looks dull, just like the actual cards, and has the light lines (about a 1/4" apart) through it.
Then I saved my Word doc as a PDF file, and printed that. Same thing: dull colors, hard to read with faint lines segmenting the design.
What's going on!!?
Thanks for any help.
