issue with connecting a USB 3.0 device after USB 2.0 devices

I have first rMBP model and have a little issue with USB and wondering if anyone else have a same issue.

When I connect a USB 3.0 device first before any other USB devices, my rMBP recognize it well but if I ended up connecting any one of my USB 2.0 devices first and connect a USB 3.0 device, USB 3.0 device is recognized as USB 2.0 device.

Has anyone experienced same issue and is there any fix for it?

Yeah I can connect USB 3.0 device first but it is darn annoying to unmount every USB 2.0 drives to connect 3.0 device again.

Are you using a USB 2 hub?

Not always. Often pluging my usb key first results same
