Hi All

I am having a bit of a weird issue that I haven't experienced on previous operating systems.

When I am out, I like to hotspot my macbook to my iphone which works as intended. The issue I am experiencing is when I close the lid on my macbook, the hotspot connection stays active. This has only started happening with Sequoia / iOS 18. It used to disconnect when the lid was closed so I now have to manually turn off hotspot on my phone.

Is this happening to anybody else? Does anybody have any ideas how to fix this please?

Thank you

You could disable networking during sleep.
To read the current value for tcpkeepalive from Terminal: pmset -g
To disable tcpkeepalive: sudo pmset -a tcpkeepalive 0
To enable tcpkeepalive: sudo pmset -a tcpkeepalive 1
But it also disables Find my Mac for a Mac that is in sleep mode.
