Issue with iphoto location external drive

I have my iphoto folder located on an external drive. The elCap version of iphoto, under preferences, It shows the location but I cant change it to the external drive. Any please check if it works? I sent a request in.

I keep clicking on it and does nothing.

Like in iPhoto, keep alt pressed when you open the app and it will let you choose the library you want to open.
