Hi Folks,

I am having an issue with my iPhone 7 using the lighting to headphone adapter and a 3.5mm cable to connect to the AUX port in my car.

When I am using Spotify, the music plays at full volume. However, when I use Downcast or Audible the volume is low and I can hardly hear it coming out of my car speakers. Any suggestions?

(I confirmed the volume limit is off and I also soft-reset the phone)

Best Regards,
Glass

If Spotify is working at proper volume then I doubt it's the adapter.

Sounds like an absolute mystery. Do Downcast and Audible play at a normal level through earphones? Let us know when you solve it because I've been sat here racking my brains trying to figure it out lol.

Thanks for your reply. I forgot all about this post. Turns out that my 3.5mm AUX cable was frayed at the other end, causing loss on higher audio frequencies.
