Hi all, picked up my new iPad Air 2 yesterday and am loving it. One slight little niggle though is on the messages app none of my other conversations from my iPhone or Mac have downloaded through to my iPad. The only conversation in there is one that I started from my iPad. Any suggestions on how to get it all linked up properly again? Thanks.

Current iMessages that are present on your iPhone/Mac will not be downloaded since they were never really started on the iPad. All messages sent from your iPad/Mac/iPhone at this point will appear on all devices as long as you continue the conversation. (receive a Text from mom, reply on iPad, will be seen/downloaded on your iPhone & Mac.)

Like mentioned, old messages won't sync.

However new messages started from any of your other device this point forward should. If they aren't make sure text forwarding is turned on for your iPad on your iPhone. Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding > iPad
