I've noticed that on my father's new Retina MBP there is a small bright area in the lower right corner of the screen. It is quite apparent in white or lighter colored backgrounds but nearly invisible in in black or very dark backgrounds.

It doesn't look like burnt/stuck pixels and it's not dirt either but I'm not sure what it could be and how we could fix it? Attached is a photo that I took (photo doesn't show it that well but I circled the area affected). Thanks.

He might have to get a replacement, I don't think there is a way to fix it.

Take it in, it looks like one of those marks you get from placing too much pressure on the back of the display. Interestingly, someone else was on the forum a few days ago saying they received theirs with this problem too.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I have to take it in. Hopefully they have some in stock to replace this one.
