Issue with pictures not tilting

I got my iphone yesteday and its been working all good. However when i take a picture and I view it on my pictures album, and tilt the phone horizontally, it does not turn the picture. like if the accelerometer didnt work. However it does work when i turn it browsing the internet/other apps etc. Is there an option or something that i might have turned on ?

Just happened with mine as well a few minutes ago. I was distressed until I rebooted. Everything returned to normal. I will watch this issue.
