Hey everyone,

I have an issue with my 2014 Accord LX that is driving me nuts. My phone is an iPhone 6.

My accord is equipped with bluetooth but not carplay or siri eyes free.

I have the "Allow HFP prompts" setting enabled in Apple maps so that whenever a command from apple maps is spoken, my car simulates a phone call and will push the audio through my car radio. This is great and is a really good alternative for those of us without carplay.

However, the same thing does not work with Siri. If I activate Siri, I will get no audio unless I am on the "bluetooth audio" input on my car that I use to play music over bluetooth. It will not simulate an incoming phone call and play the audio regardless of the radio input mode like apple maps does.

I have done some research online and nobody else seems to have this issue on other cars. When bluetooth is connected, most cars will simulate a phone call and play the siri prompt over the radio.

Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else had this issue and fixed it?
