issue with subtitles and PLEX

Hello,

I can seem t find the settings to stop all subtitles from playing in PLEX.
I went into all the Apple TV settings and anything that looked like it dealt with subtitles, I turned off to changed the settings and I did the same in the plex app settings, and when I watch a tv show episode, the subtitles appear, and I have to go and turn them off by swiping up during the episode, and I have to do that overtime I watch a bunch of episodes from a season.

anyone else having this issue?

We probably need more information to speak intelligently on this issue. Could be settings on the server side and/or the player side. You don’t say what type of files you have (.mp4, .m4v, .mkv, etc.) or where the came from. That could also be a factor.

Settings at bottom LHS of menu when in the Plex App i.e. very bottom of side your name is on & turn system wide off/on there, or on an individual basis click the ellipsis (3 dots) on the media screen you're looking at.
