All of a sudden today, the t button started acting weird. If I hit the "t" key on the keyboard from the bottom side of the key, it gets no response. I have to hit the t button on the top side of the key to get a response. I tested the rest of the keys and none have this issue. It's annoying b\c i usually hit the t key from the bottom, so i often press the t key and it doesn't register anything..forcing me to press t multiple times until it registers. How would I fix this? I really don't feel like going down to the apple store or sending my laptop away for 2 weeks to get it fixed..so is there any quick fix for this I can do? Thanks.

It sounds like the contacts are dirty.

I don't know if it's possible, but try to remove the key and clean the key and contact with rubbing alcohol.

i tried to remove the key and try to reseat it, but it seemed like the key is in there pretty tightly and i didn't want to break anything. Has anyone removed a mbp key before?
