Hi there,
I just bought a new Mac Mini and got the apple store to transfer everything, including email from outlook. When I went to make sure everything was there, I was dismayed to see that a lot of things were missing. It seemed that unread in folders was there, but any read messages in folders were missing.
I talked to the apple guy and he showed that they use Thunderbird to create .mbox files, which then Mail can read. So I checked to see that the emails were there in Thunderbird (they were) so we re-exported and tried again to re-import into Mail. Same result - unread mail was there, but read mail wasn't.
Anyone have any idea what's going on? The Apple store has my computer for another day so they can try different ways to import/export the email.
Thanks
