Hi,

I have a weird issue with the pool swim part of the workout app, which has been around in all versions of watchOS since I got my Series 2 over a year ago.

All of a sudden the a distance counter does not count the swim distance on the display while swimming. Instead it shows a static distance, which does not change during swimming.
When I have completed swimming, all data looks ok it has counted the distance correctly but it doesn't show while swimming.

e.g. at the moment if I start swimming with open goal it jumps to 3252meters in a few seconds, and stay there for the duration of the exercise.
If a start a swim with a distance goal of e.g. 1500meters, it shows completed after a few seconds because it again jumps directly to 3252meters.

I have had this on occasions since I got the watch. Restart/resetting the watch does not fix it. The only thing that has fixed it when it happens is a OS update whenever Apple releases such. But after a while it reappears.

Anybody know how this can be fixed?

EDIT: It actually seems to be counting down from something. Because yesterday when I was in the pool, I believe it showed 4752 meters for the duration of the exercise and I swam 1500 meters, and today it show 3252 meters.
Is there a counter somewhere that needs to be reset?
