Hello all,

I am new to Mac. I got the new rMBP 2015 15". I am trying to download images from my CF card which is connected via a card reader. The card is normally recognised and when I am trying to download images, the process does't start and I always get an error message "Disk not ejected properly". Then everything restarts again...mac will connect the CF card via the reader and will do the same thing again - disconnect when I am trying to download images.

No idea why this is happening. I have connected the same card to my PC via the same card reader and it is working OK. What is the issue?

Thanks!

I went to the disk utility to verify the disk and this is what I get:

Verifying volume “EOS_DIGITAL”Verifying file system.** /dev/rdisk2s1

** Phase 1 - Preparing FAT

** Phase 2 - Checking Directories

** Phase 3 - Checking for Orphan Clusters

181 files, 26686688 KiB free (833959 clusters)

File system check exit code is 0.

when trying to manually copy, getting the error code -36. Only part of the image is copied.

There are several ways to check this:

1) Try using Image Capture app (built-in app) to import
2) Try using Photo to import (built-in app) to import
3) Try using your camera and connect it to Mac to import
4) Try using your camera's app to import to import

I had issue with my SD card before and it said I do not have the permission bla bla bla. I would use your PC to export all files then do a format in your Mac or camera. This solved my issue.
