Issues on iOS 14.5

Since updating to iOS 14.5, I’ve been a few issues. Right now for some reason the widgets on my home screen keeps flickering. It stops after a few seconds but it happens again a few hours later. Updating to iOS 14.5.1 doesn’t fix this. The phone also overheats all the time since updating. This is also on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Any solutions besides restoring the phone? I did that when updating to iOS 14.3 and I want to avoid doing it again.
