I'm helping my grandmother with removing her partition for boot camp. I removed the partition using Disk Utility with no problems, but I am unable to resize the main hard drive. Every time I try to resize it says there is an issue with verifying the filesystem. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this?

The exact error is this:

Partition failed

Parition failed with the error:

Could not modify parition map because filesystem verification failed

I'm hoping there is a way to fix this without restoring the computer.
