This is my first foray into JB'ing the iPad and trying to customize it. I've read alot of the forums and gotten far, but am hitting a few snags.
1) I installed iFile on the iPad. I've been using the Chrome browser to access the files via wifi and do my file swap for the icons. Is there a better desktop solution for accessing the files? If I start iFile, can I use a program like FileZilla to gain access to the files? Working through Chrome (or any browser for that matter) seems clunky.
2) I managed to swap out the Atomic Browser icon. See below screen shot in lower right hand corner (Chrome logo). Also, I've attached the png file used. Why does the png file not show a transparent background when on the iPad, but does when looking at it here on my desktop. (I'm not Photoshop savvy, so I downloaded the best png file I could find).
3) Is there a good resource for nice, professional looking icons that share the same color palette?
