Been trying to burn a .dmg image to a cd-r, but disk utility is causing me problems. The image is 535MB, and I am using a 700MB blank cd-r. Each time I try and burn it, I keep getting the message that the cd does not have enough space. I have tried it with different blank cd's but no luck. Burning a 230MB image was fine, but this one is causing me difficulties, am i missing something here? any help please?

Use Burn instead. It's free. I find DU to really suck for burning.

will it burn like disk utility though, i.e when i insert the CD it will be recognised by my mac as a cd and mount the image automatically, as oppose to it being burnt as data, and so when I insert the cd I then have to open the dmg image manually?
