So I tried installing apple's chud today for the tools it provides, but I kept getting an error after the installer said "Running package scripts". The installation stops, and I get the message "The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." I've also tried running the packaged uninstaller, and reinstalling, but nothing has worked.
