Issues with DVD burner

I'm running OS 10.5.8 and now all of a sudden I'm having problems with my DVD burner. I have an older G4 Power PC that has a Sony DVD RW DW-U10A DVD drive. I burned some family movies to a DVD just before Christmas with no problem. Tried to do the same all morning long and I get this error message: "The disc could not be used because the disc drive is not supported. Error code 0X80020025." Why is this happening now when I just used it a couple of months ago with no problems??
