Okay. This morning, I attempt to open iPhoto. A message pops up saying that I can't open up my current photo library with this version of iPhoto. It says that I've made changes to it with a newer version of iPhoto, and that I need to get the latest version. The thing is, I have the most recent version. One thing that gets me though, is that I have some photos saved on my iPod touch, and when I sync that, iPhoto opens and works just fine. I just can't get to it by clicking on the dock icon. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

I had the same problem with my mac. Still I have not fixed it. Hopefully there will be a new upgrade. : )

i'm having the same problem....my imac has iphoto 2008 and my new mbp has iphoto 2009...i accessed my imac from my mbp through my network and open a couple of pictures on the imac....apparently opening those pictures with iphoto 2009 did something and i can no longer open iPhoto on the imac (i get the same error as OP)
