Issues with iTunes syncing to my iPhone

I have a MBP with iTunes 10.1.1 and I have a iPhone 3GS with the latest iOS. My problem is with TV Shows syncing to my phone. I have ripped my DVD's to take them on the go and watch them while traveling. It is easier to have them on the computer or phone because I can always have them without having to carry them around. My problem is how it will sync and list them. In iTunes, all of my shows are separated. All with different names and information. When it goes to my iPhone, it all has been grouped under one Name. I never had this problem before. I don't know if anybody has seen this or if I have some bug in my iPhone or MBP.
