I just recently stated using Apple Mail instead of Gmail's webmail interface. I've noticed that when I press the reply button, the application freezes for about 5-10 seconds, sometimes with spinning beach ball of death(usually just if I move the mouse). Is this normal, or does this mean there is something wrong with Mail. If there is something wrong, can I fix it?

Which machine is it on?
Computer:
20" 2GHz Core Duo iMac, 13.3" 2GHz MacBook

I can only se it being a problem if you have 512MB of RAM.. even then that would be odd.

It's on the 2GHz iMac with 2GB of RAM. I'm thinking it's probably some sort of configuration problem or something.
