Issues with many applications

Many applications like to quit randomly. These apps are:

Adium
MSN Messenger for Mac
Safari
iLife(all apps)
Mail


I wonder why this is happening, I looked at the logs when all the apps quit. The log is usually the same as all the others.

The only time Aduim crashes is when logging into any accounts.

This may be worth noting:

Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)
Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE (0x0002) at 0x000001ad

If you create a new user account, do these apps crash from there too?
