Hi Guys,

My parents have an eMac running OS X10.3.9.

The problem they are having is with web browsing and that both Safari and Firefox almost always take them to dodgy websites when they type in any URL or click on a link.

For example, they can type in a URL such as www.johnlewis.com and the first time they try and navigate to that site, it goes to a random porn site or some other dodgy site.

This happens with almost any site that they try and navigate to, once the dodgy site has appeared, the next time they try and go to the correct site, it works ok.

I am assuming that this is potentially some form of Malware or similar.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this and what I can do to get rid of the problem.

Thanks in advance

Jason
