Has there been any persistant issues with the Penryn MBPs? (like the LCDs and yellow gradient issues with SR MBPs)

Mine is perfect as far as I'm aware... and I was pretty paranoid when I first got it (about 2-3 weeks ago) so checked as much as I knew how.

Mine seems perfect also. I'm new to mac so I don't know exactly what to check but I've got no yellow screen, hissing noises, fans problems etc.

No problems here either. I've only had the MBP for 4 days though.

Not a single issue other than the bars of light once. Its been on almost 24/7 for 3 weeks now... running hard core also.

Yes.

Mine had defective power brick, wierd freezes and the backlight led's messed up sometimes..

Now waiting for the 2nd one to arrive..

I have such a slight yellow tint that all but went away when i calibrated my screen to my liking. Sure, you can see it with the test, but in normal working conditions, good luck, and I'm trying really hard to see it, no luck.

This is probably the best computer I've owned, it works like a champ!

Little over a week... no problem so far... I'm loving it. Haven't calibrated the screen but there is a very very very very slight yellow tint. Doesn't quite bother me though... :D

Both of mine had pretty bad case separation on the front, especially on the front left corner and in front of the trackpad. Applications would freeze frequently, everything would slow down, and there was very noticeable hissing + beeping when using the headphone jack. My Wi-Fi signals were frequently dropped on the second Pro, and they both had audible fan whine that would vary from time to time, often making sort of a pulsing sound.
