Hi, there!
I have a couple of issues on my M3 MacBook Air after installing Sequoia.
1. I can no longer access emojis using the Globe key nor any other keyboard shortcuts. Emojis simply do not show up.
2. After locking mack clicking the power button, Lock Screen is displayed and it never goes to sleep. Before Sequoia, after a couple of seconds displaying the moving background it went automatically to sleep, turning off the display. Now it get there, just showing the moving background and nothing more happens.

Can you share your experiences, and shed some light on how to solve these?

If you have the keyboard Input Menu showing in the menu bar does accessing them from there work?
It does not.
If I click it, nothing happens.
Regarding issue number 2, anyone?
I am fed up one having to press "Esc" after locking the MacBook Air to get the display off. Otherwise it will stay displaying the moving background forever which is weird.

You might try creating a new user account to test if the issues are specific to your current one.

Another thing to do would be a non-destructive re-installation of macOS.

I even erased the Air and configured it as new, so, new user account was created.
Issues persist.

New account…and not migrated from a backup. Right?

I wouldn't think your issues 1 and 2 are related. As far as #2 goes…I don't have my M3 MBA set up that way so I can't even check that.

On my Mac Studio M1 Ultra, 15.0 had trouble with display sleep and thus, sleep. It rarely did it.
15.1RC fixes it. Wasted hours chasing this...
15.2B1 is a panicky crash version on this system! Stay clear! I resorted to reinstalling a second boot volume to play with actual betas. It's ok on my MacBook Pro M1.
