Issues With Skype for Mac?

Are there any known issues with using Skype on Tiger? I had a directory failure that even Disk Warrior could not repair right after installing Skype. Sys info: iMac G5/1.8 Ghz / 2gig ram.

I have used various (successive) versions of Skype on a MacBook with both Tiger 10.4.9-10.4.11 and leopard 10.5.2 for instant messaging, audio and audio-visual links, talking to both Mac & Windows machines and have had absolutely no problems.

I have had minor issues with the Beta Version but that was a while back. Since then none to speak of. I use Skype to talk to my son in Japan and Daughter in England all the time. A very good application!
