Apps issues with soundhound?

Anyone have issues with this app? I installed it yesterday and once it was set up through the phone it was hit or miss. Sometimes it would work while others took to long and the phone went to sleep mode. Other times the blue tooth on my phone would go out so it would play through the car and when I look at the phone the phone is running sound hound. Does this seem right? If so the app is worthless
