Hello,

Any of you had issues with SSD's embedded into the motherboard (I think in models after 2016...) ?.

And if yes, can be solve and how much?

Thanks
Duarte S.

The soldered SSD in the newer MacBooks will likely work just fine for the service life of the computer. SSDs are pretty reliable these days and Apple uses very high quality parts. Unless you are writing and rewriting large amounts of data very frequently, I think you are unlikely to experience a failure.

Unfortunately, if the SSD does fail, the fix is a logic board replacement. There is no way to replace the drive alone as far as I know.
