Issues with text messaging and home folders reset upon iTunes sync

text messaging I see problem I get a noticed that their is one unread message but really their is not and I tried a restore nothing happens. What can I do? I running beta #3 also another problem is each time I do a sync with my iPhone the home folder's will all be lost forcing me to do the folder layout all over why is this? It happens on my iPad as well.
