So I'm finally updating my iPad from iOS 4.3.3 to 5.0.1, and I've done the usual backup (which took about an hour), and downloaded the update.

Then when I go to select "Update", iTunes immediately tries to do another backup. This one is much MUCH slower then the first though, and after an entire hour, I can just about see the blue loading bar.

Any reason why it's going so slow? Fair enough it needs to backup about 40GB of data, but the first time wasn't this slow.

Frustrating, I did an update on my 4S which holds a similar amount of data, and it was done in about 10-15 minutes...
