Hi to all
I’m having a strange issue regarding WiFi connection. Yesterday I tried to open a website on 2 phones: 1 iPhone and 1 android...on iPhone it took very long time to load nothing at the end, and on android load time was very short. I saw iPhone is having issues when you wanna surf on internet over WiFi..sometimes also on carriers net. I need to try another browser....maybe is not the phone.
Another issue that I have is with lock button on the right side...sometimes is locking my iPhone, sometimes not. And also if I want to restart/shut down the phone after pressing is doing nothing.

and the third issue is when I’m speak on the phone on hands free...when I let the phone on the table and I set it on hands free (speaker) who I’m phoning with is hearing me interrupted...after the last iOS update is still not resolved.
Does somebody else have this?

I can’t speak to issue 3.

1) you have to do more testing, and in different networks to come to any useful conclusion

2) the sleep wake button is pretty flush on the newer models and you need a key combination now to shut down the phone.

1- Wifi issue, sorry unsure, have you tried airplane mode on/off to see if that established a better connection?

2- To restart/power off you must: volume down & lock button at the same time for 3 seconds

3- My wife noticed the same with the speakerphone on 12 PM. She has to hold her phone at a certain angle to be picked up by the mic. I just got mine and honestly haven't tried it on mine. I usually don't use speakerphone. I'll see what happens later today and update if mine does it too.

1. I've noticed on my girlfriends network her Android phone works much better than my iPhone when it comes to loading pages. I never have this issue when on my own network so I guess maybe there might be a difference in router settings?

2. I rarely use the sleep/wake button to lock the phone but when I do it works as designed. To shut the phone down, as posters above stated there is a combination of key presses or you can go to settings/general and at bottom of page it shows "shut down".

3. Can't give an opinion on this one as I always hold the phone when on speaker phone or I use my Airpods.. Possibly there is some microphone interference when on the table due to the way the sound reflects off the flat surface..

I've got 5 iPhones (older ones) and 2 Android devices (older ones) and both Android devices connect to wifi or a hotspot way way faster than any of the iPhones. iPhone 8 connection is slower too.

iPhones have notoriously poor phone performance / audio quality. Almost every bad phone call I get is from someone using an iPhone. I ask them - and they say yes 98% of the time.
Same with my phone. People sometimes complain about my audio breaking up - hard to hear me.
Hands down iPhone has the worst phone call performance - in my experience
